Leah Remini and Life is Good Headline DreamCourt Opening in Long Beach

Life is Good is more than a brand, it’s a movement fueled by optimism. Today, the California children served by the Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach celebrated optimism with the grand opening of a new DreamCourt™ at the Freeman E. Fairfield/Westside Center. DreamCourts are state-of-the-art basketball facilities built in lower-income communities through a collaboration among WorldVentures Foundation™, Nancy Lieberman Charities and Sport Court®. Optimistic lifestyle brand Life is Good, who donated over $50,000 to build the court, along with actress Leah Remini headlined the grand opening event.

“I’m honored and humbled that Leah Remini and Life is Good are rallying behind this effort,” said Nancy Lieberman, Basketball Hall-of-Famer, NBA coach and founder of the Nancy Lieberman Charities. “Together we can bring a renewed sense of vitality and community to children and families in the area.”

The building of this court was motivated by the story of a 15-year-old boy who was slain in the area last March. Leah Remini’s sister, Nicole Remini, who initiated the project said: “After such a tragedy, we hope this DreamCourt will unite the community and provide a safe place for children to play, away from gangs and violence.”

When Life is Good heard about the need for a safe place to play in Long Beach, they stepped up to support the building of the DreamCourt. The $100 million lifestyle brand is currently on a nationwide tour to spread optimism and help #GROWtheGood by connecting with communities and raising over $1 million to help kids in need. The DreamCourt opening is one of the main events during the tour.

“Optimism doesn’t ignore what’s wrong – it helps you focus on what’s right,” said John Jacobs, Co-Founder, Life is Good. “We’ve learned through the years that life isn’t easy and life isn’t perfect, but life is good. We are committed to giving back and helping to make life good for all kids.”

Dan Stammen, the board chair of WorldVentures Foundation, shared his perspectives: “When you consider that 83% of children who come to this facility live below the poverty line and 60% come from single-parent households, a message of optimism is like oxygen. I’m a Boys & Girls Club alumni, and I know together, we can breathe new life into communities like these all over North America.”

"Sport Court is extremely pleased to support the WorldVentures Foundation and Nancy Lieberman Charities on this important DreamCourt project that will provide a high-quality Power Game™ surface for safe play at the Boys & Girls Club in Long Beach,” said Joe Ure, Sport Court Director of Residential Sales.

WorldVentures Foundation is a dedicated, national affiliate of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and leads service excursions to clubs nationwide. Of 19 DreamCourts built to date, 11 are located at Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. Earlier this year, the Remini sisters and Viva Glam magazine hosted a celebrity silent auction at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills to help raise money for construction of the Freeman E. Fairfield/Westside DreamCourt, which features two full-sized, multi-sport courts constructed with Sport Court’s Power Game high-performance safety surface, bright blue and orange accents, a wall mural and bleachers.

WorldVentures Foundation Plants Seeds of Hope in Zimbabwe

As the world mourned Cecil the Lion and debated the humanity of hunting big game in Zimbabwe, a baby found abandoned in a pit latrine was being loved back to life nearby. How she got there, no one knows, but her plight fuelled purpose for those who joined WorldVentures Foundation™ (WVF) in August for Volunteer Days at the Rose of Charity Orphanage and its Community Center in Victoria Falls.
“My heart breaks when I think of that sweet baby, left to drown in human waste,” said WVF Executive Director Gwyneth Lloyd, as she fought back tears. “The inhumanity is unspeakable but, as horrible as it is, stories like hers are all-too common. It’s why we are called to serve.”

Lloyd and her team led two groups of WorldVentures Representatives and Members to Zimbabwe August 9-16 and August 13-16 to clean, paint, furnish and construct a sustainable food garden at the Victoria Falls orphanage. The beautiful humanitarian Simangele Moyo founded the home in 2007 as a haven for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Today, services have expanded to include personal empowerment workshops, education assistance, therapeutic counselling and more. WorldVentures Foundation raises funds and provides volunteer support for outreach organizations like Rose of Charity to fulfil its mission to positively impact children worldwide.

Lloyd said education and clear paths to self-sufficiency will help end the cycle of teen pregnancy and baby abandonment that leads to institutionalization in Zimbabwe. To that end, WVF volunteers are helping to collaborate on funding a school dropout prevention program at the orphanage that includes vocational training for careers in tourism and hospitality. Lloyd also invited the management at nearby Elephant Hills Hotel about partnering with the home on training and job placement.

“Without the selfless contributions of our volunteers, none of this would be possible,” Lloyd shared. “They’ve built more than a garden here; they’ve planted seeds of hope.”

WorldVentures Rep Misty Anderson of Chattanooga, Tenn., was among the volunteers who came to lend support. With a heart for giving that stems from her own disadvantaged youth, she expressed her passion for the Volunteer Days program.

“I’m passionate because I was kinda raised like this,” she said tearfully, while watching the orphans play. “I want to give because I didn’t really have anybody to give back for me. Being able to overcome some of the things I’ve come from, I want to help others overcome. I would advise anybody to do this because of what you get out of it.”

WorldVentures Once Again Recognized as an Inc. 5000

WorldVentures™, the leading international direct seller of vacation club memberships, ranked No. 915 in Inc. magazine’s 34th annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of America’s fastest-growing private companies. WorldVentures received its ranking based on growth of 491% in the past three years.

The list represents one of the most important segments of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, LinkedIn, Zillow, and many other prominent businesses, gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.

“We’re honored to be named to the fastest-growing companies list once again,” WorldVentures Co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer Wayne Nugent said. “We’ve catapulted from 2333 last year to number 915 this year and rank ninth for the top travel and hospitality companies. What a great achievement for our corporate team and Independent Representatives around the world who have worked so hard to deliver these results.”

The 2015 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved an impressive three-year growth of 490%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $205 billion, generating 647,000 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000 can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

"The story of this year’s Inc. 5000 is the story of great leadership,” Inc. President and Editor-in-Chief Eric Schurenberg said. “In an incredibly competitive business landscape, it takes something extraordinary to take your company to the top. You have to remember that the average company on the Inc. 5000 grew nearly six-fold since 2012. Business owners don’t achieve that kind of success by accident."

This recognition comes at a time of tremendous growth for WorldVentures. In addition to the being named one of America’s fastest-growing private companies in the Inc. 5000 list, WorldVentures was recognized at No. 47 on the Direct Selling News’ DSN Global 100 list and No. 25 on the DSN North America 50 list. And recently, its core product, DreamTrips™ Memberships, eclipsed competitors for the coveted title of “Africa’s Leading Travel Club” during the World Travel Awards.

Ozonetel Launches Speech Recognition on CloudAgent

Ozonetel Systems, the pioneer in Cloud Communications in India has launched Speech Recognition on CloudAgent, the Contact Centre Solution.

Last year, Ozonetel acquired the speech recognition business of Yantra Software, a provider of speech and voice technology products and services.  The objective was to integrate their speech capabilities into the core KooKoo platform so that KooKoo developers can start building speech applications for providing quality services at a lower cost to its customers. Ozonetel has spent close to a year rigorously testing the software with its platform using various dialects and trying to make the system foolproof before launching it to the end customers.

You can check out a small demo by calling 040-30247041. It will ask you to say a number from 1 to 9. Say a number from 1 to 9 and wait. The IVR will repeat the number spoken by you.
We are moving from "Please press 1 for Sales or 2 for Support" to "Please say 1 for sales or 2 for support". It will not be long before the IVR says "Please say Sales or Support"
Compared to Google & Siri, this might seem to be quite a basic solution but our approach to speech is to make it easily available to the end users without them knowing how speech recognition works. Ozonetel will be rolling out multiple domain specific word packs for cities/state, grocery, banking, insurance etc. These would be already trained and tested for accuracy, and our team will continuously monitor and improve it for better accuracy.

With the launch of Speech Recognition, Ozonetel will redefine the whole IVR experience for the end customers. The technology can immensely benefit businesses who are trying to reach the base of the pyramid market segments. People who cannot read and write, can now verbally respond to the IVR prompts instead of having to feed in digits through the mobile keypad. The IVR prompts can be in the local language. Our vision is to solve the customer communication problems for businesses and this is another big leap in this direction. The reach and impact that the speech recognition technology can provide can be humongous.
Some of the immediate benefits can be summed up as follows:
  • Businesses can market their services to rural population without having to worry about the education level of such target audiences.
  • Banks can use speech recognition services to reach out to unbanked people to bank on feature phones using IVR and they can be authenticated using speech bio metrics.
  • Urban audiences can now also use the speech recognition to go respond to the IVR prompts because they won’t have to keep moving the phone away from the ear to look at the keypad and feed in the digits. They can be using an IVR service even while driving.

Ozonetel in its constant endeavour to innovate and provide the best technology solutions to its customers is now helping businesses improve the way they “speak” and “listen” to their customers.

LinguaNext Technologies’ “Linguify.S” becomes an SAP-Endorsed Business Solution

LinguaNext Technologies today announced that its language platform Linguify.S is now an SAP-endorsed business solution for all countries worldwide. SAP will continue to develop localized versions for selected on-premise or cloud solutions, while LinguaNext will offer complementary solutions for product and language combinations not covered by SAP.

Linguify.S makes no changes or modifications to the underlying SAP® software or application databases. Instead, language conversion is handled externally at the display level, with all screen output translated in real time using a customized in-memory dictionary. This allows customers to run a single language instance of an SAP application across multiple regions, with users in each country selecting their preferred display language from a drop-down menu.

Solutions endorsed by SAP SE are complementary to SAP software offerings, have been specifically integrated with SAP solutions and tested by SAP, and provide additional choices and flexibility for businesses running SAP software.

“Companies are increasingly realizing the benefits of providing their staff, their partners and customers in each country with business applications in their native language,” says LinguaNext CEO and co-founder Jagdish Sahasrabudhe. “Surveys clearly show that employee productivity and customer engagement levels are much higher when user interfaces and e-commerce platforms are provided in the local language of the country.”
Added Sahasrabudhe, “The LinguaNext solution dramatically reduces the cost, complexity, deployment and time to market of local language enablement of business applications. We are delighted to have received this global endorsement from SAP, the world’s leading provider of enterprise application software.”

Said VR Ferose, managing director, SAP Globalization Services, “As the SAP solution portfolio continues to expand and customer demand for local language increases, we have been looking at innovative new ways to deliver local language that will complement SAP’s own efforts and give our customers more choice. Having endorsed the LinguaNext solution two years ago for selected markets and solutions, we felt very confident expanding the partnership to markets and products worldwide.”

Allan Zade Founder of Z-Theory intensifies his research in areas of Space, Time and Motion

Geneva, Switzerland : World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has recently made an international publication WO 2015/040505 of the patent application IB2014/061286 titled ‘A Signal Medium Motion measurement apparatus and Operation Supporting Methods’, (Author Name – Allan Zade). The invention elaborates on a wide area of physic phenomena related to motion. The proposed technology offers wide opportunities for business and science.

Speaking on the occasion, Research Scientist Allan Zade explained, “There is wide implication of these findings that’s never used before. The apparatus can be used for accurate determination of air and water crafts speed of motion relative to its surrounding medium air or water. This would work regardless of medium condition like pressure, temperature, salinity or extreme condition like a frozen aircraft surface.”

Adding said Dr. Prasanna Kumar, PhD (Math), PhD (Eco), PhD (Pol.sc), an Independent Researcher, “In case of scientific applications, the same technology offers the possibility to make determination of observer-to-light relative motion. Unlike famous Null result of every kind of Michelson-Morley experiment, the proposed technology exceeds that limitation and detects such motion by the ultimate instrumental operability that stays against postulates of Special Relativity. That capability comes from the transformation of a Round-Trip light beam experiment for two One-Way experiments.”

Said, Mr. Mohit Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor, ECE Department of R. D. Engineering College Ghaziabad, Coordinator of National Seminar on Z-Theory & Its Applications held in the College, 2013, “the patent application has strong relationship with Allan Zade’s research that was earlier published in UK and US in the form of a book titled ‘Z-Theory and its Applications’ (ISBN-13 978-1452018935). The theory examines many questions of Space, Time and Motion of every kind.”

Further research in the same area gave result of physical possibility of realization of an “impossible” device like a True Space-Velocity Detector (TSVD). The patent application describes in details that possibility as well as methods that should be used to make measurements. The unification of motion leads to possibility to use the same methods to make measurement of relative motion even for man-made crafts relative to water and/or air.
